My name is Bill Walsh, and I have built a diverse, multidisciplinary career over twenty years in organization development, executive coaching, financial services, sourcing, program management, risk management, and global and virtual leadership.

I’ve been a lifelong learner, and the quest for discovery and self-improvement led me down a path that inspires me to listen and connect to rich personal stories fraught with successes, challenges, setbacks, and triumphs.

At 18 years old, I loaded up a beat up 1988 Chevy Cavalier with all my worldly possessions and moved to city 700 miles away where I knew no one. I thought I was going to be a lawyer and had my master plan all figured out. Instead, a few decades and twists and turns later, I pursued degrees in Sociology and Psychology. I somehow survived a career in financial services through the Great Recession and grew more than I ever could have imagined. I scrapped the law school plan and pursed my Master’s in Organization Development. I developed Executive Coaching skills, and forged a path of self discovery to identify my own strengths and talents that I did not realize were there.

Looking back, I am humbled by the network that naive teenager was able to build from scratch. I am inspired by the knowing and genuine smile from a client in a moment of their own self-discovery. I am motivated by the methods rooted in cognitive behavioral coaching that teach us the power and influence of our thoughts over our actions. I am equally inspired by person-centered coaching methods which first recognize that each unique individual possesses the keys to their own success and has far more power to guide their own personal journey than they may realize. We can foster a relationship where I am your advocate, your personal Sherpa, to map your route to your destination.
